This program is intended to calculate the horsepower requirements of a hydraulic pump for a given output pressure and oil flow rate. However, it can also be used to find the "Output Pressure" or "Flow Rate" when the other two values are specified.

Once you have performed the calculation the input fields will be populated. The values you have entered will be shown in the blue background and the calculated value in the green background.

Anytime you want to make a new calculation, press the "Clear" button and enter two new values to the previously colored text fields and leave one blank.

The default efficiency of the pump is given as 85 percent in the drop down field, however you can select any value between 80 and 90 percent.
